Program Description

Colorado’s monthly rate for new entrepreneurs is higher than the national average and the state is very supportive of new startups. In 2018, 81% of CO startup businesses were still active after one year of operations. The Business Ownership AAS degree provides skills needed for students who have some technical expertise, but would like to open their own businesses. Some examples include PCC students who have studied Cosmetology, Automotive Technology, Welding, and Early Childhood Education.
