Career Opportunities
Licensed estheticians have diverse career opportunities beyond traditional facials, waxing specialists, makeup artists, product developers, and salon managers. They often work in spas, resorts, or launch their own businesses, with additional education including roles as medical estheticians in dermatology clinics, and with specialized roles like lash technicians or educators becoming increasingly popular.
Program Description
Esthetics Program: Offers specialized education in skincare science and application, covering dermatology, skin analysis, facials, hair removal, and makeup techniques. Integrates sanitation protocols, product chemistry, and business fundamentals to prepare students for esthetics licensure.
Esthetics Certificate program has a selective admissions process. The program application and requirements are available at Pueblo Community College Cosmetology. Once you have applied and been accepted into the esthetician program, you will be registered by the department to the courses listed below per semester.
