Program Description
Provides comprehensive training in hair cutting, styling, and coloring, plus skincare, nail care, and makeup through coordinated classroom theory and hands-on practice. Emphasizes sanitation, product chemistry, and salon business operations to prepare students for state licensure.
The Cosmetology program has a selective admissions process. The program application and requirements are available at. Once you have applied and been accepted to the cosmetology program, you will be registered by the department to the courses listed below per semester.
(Note: For the 15 credits of general education courses that are applied to the AAS degree may be taken before or after the cosmetology program core courses.)
