MUS 1000 - Music Theory Fundamentals I

Formerly MUS 100 Focuses on the foundational elements of music theory. The course will cover clef reading, pitch and rhythmic notation, intervals, scales, key signatures, triads and diatonic chords, and an introduction to ear training and sight singing. The course will help beginning music students, including those who have limited background reading music notation and understanding the fundamentals of music theory.
