DEH 4071 - Advanced Pharmacology

Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into the Dental Hygiene Program
Formerly DEH 471 Provides the student with current research application of pharmacology as it relates to the oral manifestations and complications of associated drugs. Students will investigate the effects, oral implications, treatment considerations and contraindications for the management of patient care. This course will study the most frequently used drugs by patients today and determine the overall impact on oral health.
